What's with all these spiders? We go away for a few days and come back to a house full of them. Another aspect of living in the country, I guess.

It's summer in the Western Sierra Nevada foothills and the sunsets are both stunning and serene.

Spring is one of my favorite times of year. Long days filled with warmth and new life. Just perfect for sitting on the porch with a tall glass of lemonade and nothing to do but enjoy the scene.
