Tim Hicks He is a great subject for your column. He just returned from Southern Africa after being there 54 days and participating in the Comrades Ultra Marathon. He was principal at Copper, San Andreas and Avery. He is 70 and fantastically smart. Submitted By: Vonny

just a thankyou Hello Sunny, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the write up you did a few weeks ago. It was simply wonderful. It was a privilege to work with you, even if it was just a short phone interview. I was amazed how you could bring all my random thoughts together so succinctly. It will definitely become a permanent article on my website as well, with the proper credits of course. Thanks again, - Melody Submitted By: Melody Baker

I tried calling your phone - no answer Hi Sonny, I was hoping we could connect today. Call me at 793-9443 before 6:15 PM or text me (if you do, or email) so I know I can get in touch with you. I enjoyed seeing you at our RWC meeting. Deborah Submitted By: Deborah Taylor-French

Greetings Hi Sonny, Long time since we've chatted. Haven't used Scribd much in the last 3 years except for the last 2 months. Hope all is well with you. Read your article on Blueberries. We love blueberry waffles. Agree with most of your political rant, particularly about bringing home the troops from overseas. Last year's U.S. Military budget for Afghanistan was $88 Billion. Considering Afghanistan's GNP is just $27 Billion that is pretty amazing - in a very bad way! Best, David dloganw on scribd Submitted By: David Welch

Sonora Sunny, I just finished appraising your violin and looked up your web site. I see that you used to live in Sonora and worked for the Union Democrat. I lived in Sonora from 1972 through most of 1974. I remember we used to call the Daily Union Democrat the "Daily Dud". I'm sure it's changed a lot since those days... and Sonora too. All the best, -David Gusset Submitted By: David Gusset

YOU Hey Sunny: I just wanted to thank you, however belatedly, for the profile you wrote on me. You are indeed one of the oh-so-few pro writers in our neck of the woods, and you are indeed appreciated for being so! Cheers, Sal Submitted By: Sal Manna

Kindle Select Hi Sunny: I'm trying to (finally!) get a book published and I was just going over my notes where you had mentioned in a letter to Redwood writers that you were really pleased with Kindle Select. Do you still feel that it is a good marketing tool over a long period of time? Have you found any down side to the program? Any tips in terms of using them? Thanks! Jean Submitted By: Jean Wong
